چکیده

Chemiluminescence (CL) is a very promising method for applications in analytic chemistry and biological systems due to the elimination of external light source, which could reduce autofluorescence interference improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) tissue penetration depth. The fluorescent dyes, chemiluminescent initiator, reaction temperature are three crucial factors that determine chemiluminescence efficiency. Up now, significant development probes has been reported high-performance imaging sensing, including based on luminol, imidazopyrazinone, peroxyoxalate, Schaap's dioxetane. In this review, we give an overview current their bioimaging biosensing applications. We also provide perspectives designing with good efficiency longer emission wavelengths.

Activatable Smart Probes for Molecular Optical Imaging and Therapy

Recent years have seen the design and implementation of many optical activatable smart probes. These probes are activatable because they change their optical properties and are smart because they can identify specific targets. This broad class of detection agents has allowed previously unperformed visualizations, facilitating the study of diverse biomolecules including enzymes, nucleic acids, i...

Silicon Nanomaterials for Biosensing and Bioimaging Analysis

Biochemical analysis in reliable, low-toxicity, and real-time manners are essentially important for exploring and unraveling biological events and related mechanisms. Silicon nanomaterial-based sensors and probes have potentiality to satisfy the above-mentioned requirements. Herein, we present an overview of the recent significant improvement in large-scale and facile synthesis of high-quality ...

Activatable fluorescent probes: a new concept in optical molecular imaging.

Activatable fluorescent probes share the unique feature of being turned on only under specific conditions: they are "silent" when not interacting with a specific target protein, microenvironment, or reactive species. Several activatable fluorescence probes have demonstrated their potential in cell biology study, disease study and diagnosis, and even in the rapidly expanding field of image-guide...

Dual-radiolabeled nanoparticle SPECT probes for bioimaging.

A gold nanoparticle was radiolabeled with (125)I and (111)In and functionalized with an MMP9-cleavable peptide to form a multispectral SPECT imaging contrast agent. Peptide cleavage from the nanoprobe by MMP9 was observed in vitro, and distinct pharmacokinetic properties of the contrast agent were observed between tumors with high or low MMP9 expression.

Activatable Dendritic 19F Probes for Enzyme Detection

We describe a novel activatable probe for fluorine-19 NMR based on self-assembling amphiphilic dendrons. The dendron probe has been designed to be spectroscopically silent due to the formation of large aggregates. Upon exposure to the specific target enzyme, the aggregates disassemble to give rise to a sharp 19F NMR signal. The probe is capable of detecting enzyme concentrations in the low nano...
